Hello bloggers I know I haven't been here for a while, but I'm back and still alive.
I'm a Junior with an academic/social life...don't judge me!!!
Anyways, there are so many websites which I'm hooked on including a story app and website called Wattpad. Wattpad is a place to read people's stories for free and you(Yes you!) can write your own story, poem, whatever you please. I'm currently reading a Fantasy/Thriller story called "Long Live...." I'm doing well so far considering that I wrote my story last month and I have over 250 readers. It's really fun! I'm totally hooked on Wattpad and I recommend that you check it out and spread the word. If you do plan to check Wattpad, please read my story!!! I will be adding my wattpad button where you can click and see my profile. Also, I have included the link for my own works and it's only a CLICK AWAY. YES ONE CLICK AWAY!!!http://www.wattpad.com/2934157-long-live
So please check out the link, you will not be disappointed.
I'm not sure when I will be returning, but I'm fidgeting with my hectic-very hectic-schedule. I will be participating in contests and Blogging challenges and hopefully "grab" more followers out there!
Thank you and have a great Sunday:)

What's so Modern?

Good morning Bloggers! Well, my blog today is all about this modern world of ours. (A.K.A. Technology) No I won't talk about how we have all these cool gadgets and what not. There's movies out playing right now which I want to watch. Or at least they are "coming soon." Those movies are:
~Beastly(Based on the novel by Alex Flinn)
~Gnomeo and Juliet
~I am Number Four
~Red Riding Hood
~The Green Hornet
& Big Mommas: Like Father, like Son.
I could probably accomplish some of that since I have a nice and relaxing 4-day weekend. Well, I only have 3 days left. I would really want to see Beastly or at least read the novel before I do. I read the summary(same story as Beauty and the Beast but more modern...hey, modern)and I really want to buy the novel right now. So if you forgot my birthday present now would be a good time to buy the book for me! Just kidding. Aside from books and movies, another "modern" topic: Ipod!
Woo-hoo! We all love Apple products. I have an Itouch and man,if my parents took it away I don't know what I'd do. I can check the weather, new apps, e-mail, school website and check my facebook page. Everything! Of course I use it after I have finished my homework! We are walking the straight path to being lazy people. Just watch the movie Wall-E(Disney)and you'll understand. well anyways if you do happen to have an iTouch, this might be interesting for you especially if you love apps. So I'm sure you've heard about Angry Birds, right? Pretty fun game...except when you cant make those green things fall! There's this cute game, a penguin game called Pengy Free. It's very basic yet challenging as you continue to run through all the obstacles. Like the name, its free! It's very cute and a must! Another is Doodle Truck, have you ever tried to deliver something on a flatbed while driving on bumpy roads? if you have I'm sorry! Doodle Truck is free(FREE!)and very addicting.but not too addicting to make you forget how to eat! :) Play those games! Very fun.
Last but not least, I have been reading. Yes, reading! I have read The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. Well, I loved that book from start to finish. There are 3 books, including this one, in a series. A Trilogy! (Who would have guessed?) The theme that I think would be great to describe the book is: Survival of the Fittest. it's a great book for teens. The story is told by Katniss Everdeen. It takes place in North America, but the country is called Panem. The best way to name this "new world" would be post-apocalyptic. It's very good and the strategies of survival is helpful to me, which I really love about this book. Just read the book, I recommend it to everyone. I will be reading Catching Fire soon. By the way, it will be made into a movie soon...just like any other movie now a days.
Have a good day! Rain or shine!...Or snow.

What's so Returning? :)
Hey Bloggers! I'm back, hopefully. The answer to all of this is homework. Yes,
hard to believe...grr. Anyways, I have something to talk about(obviously)since I've been gone. The song Since You've been Gone by Kelly Clarkson would go along well with this blog. LOL. My topic today is about a book series I've finished reading:The Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead. I think I have mentioned it before. Anyways, its a must for young adults and everyone older!
So they have been discussing and they are going to put it on the "Big Screen." No...not your plasma TV. I'm talking about the theater! And all of that wonderful merchandise that comes along with it. So my topic is on the actors and actresses that they have been "looking up" on. So here, I'm going to put the actor that I would like along with others that would also play the role:
Rose Hathaway- Odette Yustman
Lissa Dragomir- Rachel Evan Wood or Julianna Hough
Dimitri Belikov- Ben Barnes
Christian Ozera- Adam Brody
Adrian Ivashov- Hayden Christensen or Chase Crawford
Eddie Castile- Penn Badgley or Josh Hutcherson
Victor Dashkov- Ian McKellan
Well that's that. It's what I've seen so much on the web. Are there more actors out there? Of course! It's just what I would like to see. I really can't wait for the movie! AHH! You have to read it. :) I think it's better than Twilight. So that's it for today. Tomorrow, I will be on! Nighty night!

What's So???

Ugh! This is so frustrating! I just want the book to come out already. But no, I have to wait until December to reveal the secrets. So this is the 6Th book(hence The LAST Sacrifice)in The Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead. To tell you the truth, the series is AMAZING! I love this series so much. I think it's better than the Twilight Series because there's more suspense and the characters seem more "lively." It's hard to decide which book,in the series, is the best.(In my opinion, I think it's Spirit Bound, Shadow Kiss, Frostbite, Blood Promise then Vampire Academy. Either way I love each book. :) ) Same with the characters. There are different kinds of characters who are completely different but they have their own special personality. I love every character.(of course, they have to be good, not bad)Of course there are some characters that I feel should get slapped. Anyways, back to The Last Sacrifice. Right now, many readers are clueless about the next plot. What will happen? I'm not sure. Sometimes I think one thing then later, there's another point. It's complicated which is why everyone has different answers. So there is a lot to discuss like:
~What will happen to Rose?
~Who killed the Queen?
~What will happen to every individual character?
~Will Rose continue to be a Guardian?
~What will happen to Dimitri and Adrian?
And finally,
~Is there going to be a good ending to the book?
Of course, there are many other questions but these are a bit more to the point. So my theory is that Adrian might die(for many unknown reasons) and something tells me Dimitri killed Queen Tatiana. Yet, there are many other good answers. Of course, it's all revealed in the book. Darn. All I know is that whoever killed the Queen must have been in Court already. Also, the reason why I think Adrian might die is because:
1. Dimitri is originally suppose to be with Rose. Even though he's annoying sometimes. Also, it could also be Dimitri who dies. I just know that one of them might. I'm not sure, but it's...there, I guess you can say. I JUST WANT THE BOOK TO COME OUT! Then again, they both could. Rose could be alone just like the cover. One reason why I dislike the cover. It says too much but it's sad. I just hope the book won't end sad. It seems like Rose's life was pure sadness and just a dark cloud above her. Darn it!!! I hope something good comes in the end. Either way Richelle Mead knows what she is doing and I love her writing technique. Its amazing even though it's really sad and down-right depressing. So wait until December for an awesome revelation. I can't wait to read what Richelle Mead wrote.
Note:Some references are that Richelle Mead is doing a "final draft" on T.L.S.
Rating on The Vampire Academy: *****
An awesome series so far. You sink your teeth in!!! If you love vampires, you'll love V.A. Series.

Shadow Kiss

SUMMARY TIME! So here's a summary on Shadow Kiss:
As graduation comes, Rose Hathaway has devastating news. Her enemy, Victor, is on trial. Also, Strigoi attack the school(rising action) and cause problems, obviously since they are bad, which makes the book SO much better. Don't worry I won't spoil anything. I hate when people spoil everything. Ugh! Anyways, Rose just makes decisions that make you say, "Go girl!" Yeah, she continues loving Dimitri and all and yeah Lissa still likes Christian. It's really hard(as you can see) to describe this book without actually ruining anything because it's just that good. Shadow Kiss is, in the series perspective, the Rising action or depending on the other books( spirit Bound and The Last Sacrifice) it may also be the Climax. Anyways, instead of me telling you the summary, I'll just have to make a list. And the rest is up to you to read.
Here we go:
~ Rose sort of goes crazy. It's mentally but it's because of the "shadow kiss" bond she has with Lissa.
~ Adrian comes to the school.
~ Rose is assigned to Christian rather than Lissa as her "Guard." Don't worry it's a practice.
~ As I said before, Victor wasn't really in "jail" since he's royal.
~ Rose makes shocking decisions
Yeah, sorry if I made this really unnecessary but that's so the book is filled with spoilers if I told you. Now, if it's that hard to explain to someone who has read Frostbite and Vampire Academy...well I believe it's pretty darn good. This book is for young adult readers(I approve)and above.
My Rating for Shadow Kiss: ***** (5-stars)
The book is perfectly written.

Vampire Books

I'm really into the current vampire books(series):
1. The Blue Blood Series by Melissa De la Cruz
2. The House of Night Series
3. The Vampire Academy
4. The Twilight Saga(sort of) by Stephenie Meyer.
There are several books coming out for the series so technically I haven't finished them. I haven't read the House of Night Series yet because I am currently reading the Vampire Academy Series. For the V.A. Series, there's a new book coming out tomorrow. I have a LOT to do. I have to catch up on my reading. I finished the Twilight Series about 2 years ago. I think. Also, if you have read my old blog post, On the Blue Blood series, there's another book( Misguided Angel) that's coming out. I'm done with that series, but since there's 2 more books coming out, it's not official. The series I recommend for you to read is 1,2,3. The twilight series are okay, I just like books that make you wonder 'what's going to happen next.' I really want to think things through and not guess something that I know for sure is going to happen. Twilight Series doesn't reach my expectation. anyways, I just wanted to post this to remind myself to keep reading and something for the viewers. :)

Vampire Academy Series

The series, The Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead, is a book about vampires. I read this book a couple of days ago. I really enjoyed it. There are 6 books in this series but only 4 of them are out which is Vampire Academy, Frostbite, Shadow Kiss, and Blood Promise. I finished the 1st two and to tell you the truth, it's WAY better than the twilight series. I used to like the Twilight Series but there are a lot of concepts that make the book seem bad next to this series. In this series, there are real-life situations meaning that it isn't a happily ever after like the Twilight series. In life, it can't be always what you want, it's what fate wants for you. The Vampire Academy covers that. Another consept is that th Vampire Academy series is a book you'll want to be updated with. it's really interesting with everything. Plus, it ties up what the author started and ended. It makes perfect sense. Reading is a hobby, so this book makes it really page-flipping. The characters seem real and it's on real-life stuff. I reccommend this book to any young adult readers. It's an amazing series. :)

The Van Allen Legacy
So far, out of all the published books on the Blue Blood Series I really liked
The Van Allen Legacy.

-SPOILERS-
Well after Revelations(3rd book) Schuyler Van Allen chooses Oliver over Jack in the beginning. On The Van Allen Legacy, it's mostly what people ask, " What will happen at the bonding?", " Is Allegra going to wake up?", " Who will Schuyler choose?." Well I can answer those questions. Somewhere at the end of the book, Oliver is going to take Schuyler to Paris, France. But Jack Force shows up and Oliver tells Schuyler that Jack is going to go with her there. So basically, Oliver makes Schuyler' decision, that she will be with him. Before that, Mimi waits for Jack at the ceremony, as she waits for hours, she gets a text from Jack saying,"I'm Sorry." She blows out the candle and says that if she ever finds him, that she will kill him. On the contrary, Michael did not choose to kill Allegra. I'm guessing that on the next book Mimi might encounter Jack, which I'm really hoping for! There are mre revealing things on The Van Allen Legacy which makes it a great book. I just wanted to specify what happened between Jack, Schuyler and Oliver. I would give this book 9 out of 10!!!

The Misguided Angel

If I would give a rate of 1-10, it would be 9, that's how good I think it is. This boom is going to come out somewhere in November,I think, of 2010. As you can see on the right, they already released the picture of Misguided angel, which I really like.
The whole Blue Blood Series is about a half-blood named Schuyler Van Allen who goes through the whole becoming of a Blue Blood(vampire) with her friend Oliver Perry. It takes place in Manhattan, New York. Schuyler is involved with the whole Legacy thing due to her mother Allegra Van Allen who,in the first 3 books, is in a coma. from there, Schuyler falls in love with a classmate named Jack Force, who is a polular, good-looking guy, while she is opposite of him. She isn't the class, rich type at her school which makes her a "loaner." She goes through an amazing and page-flipping adventure with her best friend Oliver and her love Jack to many places around the world. Enjoy! :)
