Argentina: Lionel Messi

As you may know, it's now between Argentina vs. Germany which will take place in Cape Town, July 3. Argentina beat Nigeria, Korea Republic and Greece in Group B. Everyone in the team shows passion to the game and want to win it. Messi, who is considered the best soccer player of his generation, shows how much he's dedicate to the game. Every time he's playing, you get entertained by the way he moves the ball and how he manages to keep it while his opponents try to take it away. Messi was born June 24, 1987 in Rosario, Argentina. In soccer, he is a striker and a winger. He plays for Barcelona(Spain) and Argentina. He started to play at the age of 5. A lot of coaches were interested at his game play, but he didn't have enough money to pay for conditioning etc. Then, Barcelona signed him up after they saw the way he played. His family then moved to Spain. Maxi and Emanuel Biancucchi are his cousins who are also involved in soccer. He started to play in the team Barcelona at the age of 17, making him the 3rd youngest player to play for Barcelona. As a International Soccer player, he got his jersey with a #10 on it March 28, 2009. A lot of people say he's unstoppable when he has the ball. Some say he's like a playstation, if you make a mistake, he could take advantage of it. With all of his successes, Messi won the UEFA Club Forward of the Year and UEFA Club Footballer of the Year. He's really dedicated to the game and what he does. In Barcelona, he also beat the team Arsenal, an England team which is ranked 3rd best. I'm pretty sure he will defeat Germany, also because of the statistics of the whole Argentina team.

Ninja Stars

Origami is so much fun. You make things out of paper which most people seem to think its impossible. But before I give you a link to making ninja stars, lets get the feel or the background of Origami. It is originated in Japan which is considered a folk art of paper folding. The root ori- means folding and -kami meaning paper. It is pretty obvious but hey, we just learned something! The whole purpose of origami is to create a 3-D object out of a flat piece of paper instead of using glue, sticks, etc. A well-known origami is the Japanese paper crane. Origami is very traditional in Japan. Every origami there is starts with a square base.(Paper..it's just fun saying smart stuff like that) From references, other countries like Spain and China also could have done origami earlier than Japan, but since paper decomposes easily there is no evidence. In Japan, origami is also used for decorations like paper butterflies for weddings. There are a lot of things to make out of paper. Even making an envelope is considered origami because all you use is paper. I'm interested in origami myself. My friend made me an origami unicorn(which is SO cool) out of paper and ONLY paper. of course, she did use tape since the unicorns horn ripped. Paper really is fragile, considering the fact it comes from tree's. Anyways, you can search Google or Bing(whichever is more preferable to you) and find how to make origami. so every time you touch or fold that piece of paper, you'll know some sweet facts.

The FIFA Soccer World Cup started June 11, 2010 with the kickoff of South Africa vs. Mexico. Both teams ended up tieing 1-1. Following that match was Uruguay vs. France. None had the chance to make a goal which ended with a 0-0 match. The first Soccer Cup started in the year of 1930. The winner for 1930 was Uruguay, with the score of 4-2 against Argentina. Hello Kitty-35th

This year it's Hello Kitty's 35 Anniversary. Every year or months, they change her style. The one on the right is my favorite. There's a lot more that don't even know of. I'm not sure why I'm posting this but I've liked Hello kitty( and still do) ever since I was a little girl. When I used to live in L.A. I would do to the mall and I would have to go to the store and possibly buy something. Yeah, good memories. They have everything. I'm serious. From pencils to notebooks. From sharpeners to iTouch covers. Jewelry, anything you can think of. I went to a Target store and I saw a Hello Kitty Toaster. I was freaked out, yet it was cute. Just imagining toasting my bread in Hello Kitty's head. Yeah, weird thing to think about. Anyway, for her 35Th thing, they have I believe 6 colors of her bow. She always wears her bow and I wonder how she'd look like without it. There's red,blue,green,pink,orange, and yellow. I hope I'm not forgetting a color because that would be just sad. HA HA! I don't really know why they're doing that with the bows but every color means something like Hope, Luck,Smile and other words like that. Yeah, I know when I was little I was obsessed with her. Obsessed!!! So it's a little information on her,that's it. And yes, it's random!

Vampire Books

I'm really into the current vampire books(series):

1. The Blue Blood Series by Melissa De la Cruz

2. The House of Night Series

3. The Vampire Academy

4. The Twilight Saga(sort of) by Stephenie Meyer.

There are several books coming out for the series so technically I haven't finished them. I haven't read the House of Night Series yet because I am currently reading the Vampire Academy Series. For the V.A. Series, there's a new book coming out tomorrow. I have a LOT to do. I have to catch up on my reading. I finished the Twilight Series about 2 years ago. I think. Also, if you have read my old blog post, On the Blue Blood series, there's another book( Misguided Angel) that's coming out. I'm done with that series, but since there's 2 more books coming out, it's not official. The series I recommend for you to read is 1,2,3. The twilight series are okay, I just like books that make you wonder 'what's going to happen next.' I really want to think things through and not guess something that I know for sure is going to happen. Twilight Series doesn't reach my expectation. anyways, I just wanted to post this to remind myself to keep reading and something for the viewers. :)

SUMMER: I want to get out of school.

Have you ever heard a child say, " I want to leave school" or, "School's lame, get me out of this place?" Well, SUMMER is almost here, and we are getting the summer fever. Trust me, I have to do finals for every class and I just want to run away. I can feel the warm days coming quickly, I want to do nothing but just stay at home. I really don't like waking up at 6:30 in the morning. SORRY! I am not the morning person. I remember coming in as a Freshman at my school, wondering when summer will come. Now that I think about it, school went by fast. My Freshman days are almost over and my Sophomore year is coming quickly. What's nice about Summer is that you take a break out of school. You don't have to worry about getting up early, doing your homework, seeing which clothes you'll wear the next day. In the summertime, you forget about that and you kick back and relax. I'm pretty sure everyone wants a break from their job. Just that one day of relaxation and worrying about nothing is something that we all need.

Summer is taunting me!!! I just want to be in class one day and take my bags and say,"See ya!" to everyone. Let's go to Vegas. Sadly, school is still here and we have to do our best to make something good out of it. I can't wait to hear the bell ring and throw my papers up in the air.

SUMMER!!

Goodreads: Me and Joanna

Ok, so on a website called Goodreads, me and my cousin(Jojo) are writing a story for fun. We planned on writing this story for a while but since we are apart, we can't really do much. SO we decided to write the story by web. ( Thank you technology) Our story is about the future, I can't quite remember exactly the time of the year but it's like 3000. Ya, really futuristic. Anyways, It's a science-fiction story mainly about life or death. That's the most specific way to put it since we are barley starting. Of course, with her writing essentials and my creativity, we can make the story enjoyable. Once we are finished, we might post it on our blogs. Sorry if it's long but that's how stories go. If it's long it ought to be good. That sometimes doesn't work on other books but you get the point. I can't wait to finish and admire the work Jo and I have accomplished. :)

Vampire Academy Series

The series, The Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead, is a book about vampires. I read this book a couple of days ago. I really enjoyed it. There are 6 books in this series but only 4 of them are out which is Vampire Academy, Frostbite, Shadow Kiss, and Blood Promise. I finished the 1st two and to tell you the truth, it's WAY better than the twilight series. I used to like the Twilight Series but there are a lot of concepts that make the book seem bad next to this series. In this series, there are real-life situations meaning that it isn't a happily ever after like the Twilight series. In life, it can't be always what you want, it's what fate wants for you. The Vampire Academy covers that. Another consept is that th Vampire Academy series is a book you'll want to be updated with. it's really interesting with everything. Plus, it ties up what the author started and ended. It makes perfect sense. Reading is a hobby, so this book makes it really page-flipping. The characters seem real and it's on real-life stuff. I reccommend this book to any young adult readers. It's an amazing series. :)

The Biggest Loser

2010. Well The Biggest Loser is really popular. Even people who don't have
a obesity problem still watch it. It's really entertaining and if people who are in a good shape watch it, I'm pretty sure anyone will like this seasonal episode. It comes out every Tuesday at 8pm, channel 7. (if I'm wrong, sorry its somewhere in the single digit numbers) Well the Finale is coming up and it starts getting intense. The 4 or 3 main contestants that I think will be in the Finale is either Kole( gray team), Michael ( white team), Ashley( pink team), and Daris( orange team). I see a lot of potential and I think they will make it. Like I said before, watch it. Even if you're fit, it helps you make the right choices. They show you examples of what you can do, etc.

UCLA- I really want to go there :)

UCLA!!! Located in Los Angeles, California. Home of the Bruins
and colors Blue and Gold. One of the reasons why I am so dedicated to going to this University is because of their school of engineering and architecture. I also like their athletics, they're pretty good. Their rival is USC, University of Southern California. They have a lot of competition on their football and basketball teams. What I'm planning to do for the rest of my high school years is take 4 years of math and science since that's what they like to see. Also, to pass everything with a C or better, but for this school, my expectations are B or higher. The school is public(yess!) and it's an urban location/campus. Another University that I want to go is either UCR( Riverside) or UC Berkeley. I want to do everything to make sure I'm on the right path for one of those universities!

The Van Allen Legacy

So far, out of all the published books on the Blue Blood Series I really liked The Van Allen Legacy.

-SPOILERS-

Well after Revelations(3rd book) Schuyler Van Allen chooses Oliver over Jack in the beginning. On The Van Allen Legacy, it's mostly what people ask, " What will happen at the bonding?", " Is Allegra going to wake up?", " Who will Schuyler choose?." Well I can answer those questions. Somewhere at the end of the book, Oliver is going to take Schuyler to Paris, France. But Jack Force shows up and Oliver tells Schuyler that Jack is going to go with her there. So basically, Oliver makes Schuyler' decision, that she will be with him. Before that, Mimi waits for Jack at the ceremony, as she waits for hours, she gets a text from Jack saying,"I'm Sorry." She blows out the candle and says that if she ever finds him, that she will kill him. On the contrary, Michael did not choose to kill Allegra. I'm guessing that on the next book Mimi might encounter Jack, which I'm really hoping for! There are mre revealing things on The Van Allen Legacy which makes it a great book. I just wanted to specify what happened between Jack, Schuyler and Oliver. I would give this book 9 out of 10!!!

Why Team Edward?

Well it may seem old but when people go through the Twilight
Series, they usually bring the topic Team Edward or Team Jacob. Well this is my opinion but I prefer Team Edward. I really really dislike Team Jacob with a fiery passion. I go with Team Edward because 1st vampires are really cool and that's where all the action ,in the book, goes to. 2ND Edward is cool. He's protective and all but he isn't human in a way which, in my opinion, makes him a better "person." 3rd I really like how the book describes him. Even though I really hate Bella for numerous of reasons that people who i discuss this with knows. He's a really nice, passionate, and generous person. Somehow that brings me to a point where I go with Team Edward. Plus, when I think of Jacob, I think of a furry hairball since he is a werewolf. Ugh! But yeah, if you're indecisive, go for TEAM EDWARD!!!!!!!!

B-Brand New Eyes- Paramore

Brand New Eyes is currently the new CD for the Alternative group called Paramore. My favorite song out of all is called Careful. I'm not the alternative type but Paramore is really good. On their other CD Riot!, There's many songs that I enjoy like Misery Business, That's What you get, Crushcrushcrush, and Decode, but that's on the Twilight Soundtrack. The main Leader or singer is Hayley Williams. I don't know exactly why I posted this but currently I really like the song Careful. It's in my iPod and when it's done I rewind it so I can hear it again. What I really enjoy is the acoustics, it's entertaining. Well if you listen to a song, I hope you enjoy!

The Misguided Angel

I can't wait for this book to come out!! I've read all the Blue Blood Series which involves the books Blue Bloods, Masquerade, Revelations, and The Van Allen Legacy. There's suppose to be another book which would be the 6th one. This series is mainly about vampires. It's like Twilight but even better. It's better because there's more to it rather than simplicity. I would recommend this to anyone especially teenagers since the book focuses on teens. It's one of those books that keeps you wondering throughout the day what will happen, where will this happen, how will it happen and so forth.
If I would give a rate of 1-10, it would be 9, that's how good I think it is. This boom is going to come out somewhere in November,I think, of 2010. As you can see on the right, they already released the picture of Misguided angel, which I really like.
The whole Blue Blood Series is about a half-blood named Schuyler Van Allen who goes through the whole becoming of a Blue Blood(vampire) with her friend Oliver Perry. It takes place in Manhattan, New York. Schuyler is involved with the whole Legacy thing due to her mother Allegra Van Allen who,in the first 3 books, is in a coma. from there, Schuyler falls in love with a classmate named Jack Force, who is a polular, good-looking guy, while she is opposite of him. She isn't the class, rich type at her school which makes her a "loaner." She goes through an amazing and page-flipping adventure with her best friend Oliver and her love Jack to many places around the world. Enjoy! :)
